Flow of Common Admin Settings
Introduction
Common Management Settings is a feature that allows centralized management of organization, attribute, and user information shared across multiple services. This helps reduce the need for individual configuration for each service and streamlines overall management.
Only users who are assigned the role of "Common Administrator" can access and modify Common Management Settings. For instructions on how to assign this role, see Add/Remove Common Administrator Settings.
* Role Development does not use organization or attribute information, so Common Management Settings for these are not required.
STEP 1: Set Language for Organizations and Attributes
(Applicable Services: Engagement / Sharing)
Motivation Cloud provides two types of language settings. The first determines the language used when registering organization and attribute names. The second specifies the language used by end users. In this step, you will configure the first type before proceeding to organization and attribute setup.
This setting is required even if you only use Japanese for organization and attribute names. Note that Sharing supports only Japanese, so names will always display in Japanese regardless of the language selected. Start by selecting Japanese, then choose other languages to be used with Engagement.

STEP 2: Set Up Organizations
(Applicable Services: Engagement / Sharing)
Set up organizational hierarchies and departments based on your organizational chart. Enter the organization information into the bulk setup CSV file and upload it to register.
Once registered, Engagement allows you to analyze survey results by department to support improvement efforts. In Sharing, you can publish content by department and deliver messages to specific teams.

STEP 3: Set Up Attributes
(Applicable Services: Engagement / Sharing)
Set up attributes such as job title, age, and years of service to reflect users' roles and characteristics. Input this information into the bulk setup CSV file and upload it to register.
Once registered, Engagement enables you to analyze survey results based on attributes such as job title or joining period, supporting targeted improvement. In Sharing, you can tailor content by role or age and deliver messages to specific user segments.

Organization and attribute settings are displayed as shown on each service screen:
STEP 4: Set Up Users
(Applicable Services: Engagement / Sharing / Role Development)
In the User Settings, you register the information required for users to access each Motivation Cloud service. Basic user information is shared across commonly managed services (Engagement, Sharing, and Role Development). Each service also includes settings specific to that service, such as user roles and access permissions. Information relevant only to a specific service will not affect other services.
