Attribute bulk settings: registration, editing, and deletion
What Is Attribute Settings?
Attribute Settings is where you register attributes based on users' roles and characteristics, such as position, age, and years of service. By registering attributes, you can view and manage survey results and activity status not only by department, but also by attributes such as position and joining period. The information registered here will be reflected in Motivation Cloud Engagement / Sharing / Role Development.

Differences Between Organization Settings and Attribute Settings
- Organization Settings: Configure the departments and units that users belong to based on the organizational chart.
- Attribute Settings: Configure attributes based on users' role responsibilities and characteristics, such as position, rank, and gender.

Registering Attributes
① Click "Admin" ▶ "Attribute Settings" ▶ "Language Settings"
Configure the language to be used for Organization/Attribute registration.
If you are registering Organization/Attribute for the first time, this setting is required even if you are only using Japanese.
Set Organization/Attribute Language
② Click "Bulk Settings"
③ Select the character encoding for the file to download, then click "Export Settings File"
Character Encoding
You can choose from the following character encodings:
UTF-8
A multilingual character encoding that supports platform-dependent characters and foreign languages.
Shift-JIS
A commonly used character encoding for Japanese.
Note: Using platform-dependent characters or foreign languages not supported by Shift-JIS may result in character corruption (mojibake).
④ Open the downloaded file and register attributes by referring to the guides below

* Depending on the items you edit, other settings may be affected. Please check before making changes.

Adding, editing, or deleting Organization/Attribute while an Engagement Survey is in progress may affect survey results. Please make sure to check the precautions in the "(Add/Edit/Delete Organizations/Attributes) During Engagement Survey Implementation" guide before proceeding. |
⑤ Click "Import File" and select the file you created
⑥ Click "Execute Bulk Settings"
⑦ Check "I have reviewed the above information" and click "Next"

Editing and Deleting Attributes
To edit or delete attributes, edit the CSV file downloaded in step ③ and upload it.
