Organization Settings: Register, Edit, and Delete Individually
Before Configuring Organization Settings
- If you need to update the language settings for Organizations or Attributes, please do so before making any changes to the Organization/Attribute settings.
Set Organization/Attribute Language
- The following items can be updated individually. For all other changes, please use the bulk settings.
- Department: Add, edit name, change parent department, delete
- Organizational Unit: Edit name

If you're using Motivation Cloud Engagement To update Organization/Attribute information for the next Engagement Survey, please click the “Start Preparation” button before making changes. This allows you to register updated Organization/Attribute information without modifying how they appear in already published survey results. Steps: Click "Admin" ▶ "Engagement Survey Implementation Settings" ▶ "Start Preparation" |
Register a Department
① Click "Admin" ▶ "Organization Settings" ▶ "Department Registration"
② Enter the required fields and click "Save"

Edit Organizational Unit and Department Names
① Click "Admin" ▶ "Organization Settings" and select the organizational unit or department name to edit
② Click "Edit"
③ Change the "Department Name" or "Organizational Hierarchy Name " and click "Save"

⚠ Caution You cannot edit the department code here. To edit department or attribute codes, refer to Change Department Code / Attribute Item Code. |
Delete a Department

⚠ Please make sure to review the following before deleting a department.

① Click "Admin" ▶ "Organization Settings" and select the department to delete
② Click "Delete"
③ Check "I have reviewed the above" and click "Delete"

If you're using Motivation Cloud Engagement If the Action Plan Manager has view permissions granted through “View Permission Rules,” updates made in Organization/Attribute Settings will not be reflected automatically. Please go to “View Permission Settings” > “Grant/Update Permissions” to apply the changes. |
