Set Attribute Association Settings
What Are Attribute Association Settings?
Attribute Association Settings include two types: Automatic Association attribute settings and job title attribute settings.
What Are Automatic Association Settings?
Automatic Association Settings is a feature that links information such as "date of birth" and "joining date" in User Settings with
attribute information such as "age," "joining period," and "years of service" in Attribute Settings, and automatically updates them.
This ensures that even as a user's age or years of service increase, they are automatically linked to the attribute item that matches the conditions.
What Are Job Title Settings?
Job Title Settings are required in the following cases.
- When setting View Permissions for users who hold concurrent posts in departments in Motivation Cloud Engagement
This setting allows concurrent post holders to register job titles for their concurrent departments.
It is used in the 'Rules' section of View Permissions Settings in Motivation Cloud Engagement.

For individual settings
① Click "Admin" ▶ "Attribute" ▶ "Attribute Association Settings"
② Click "Edit"

STEP 2. Configure the Automatic Association Conditions for Attributes
① Click "Admin" ▶ "Attribute Settings" ▶ "Attribute Association Settings"
② Click "Edit"
③ Click the dropdown on the left for the attribute association type you want to configure, and enter the range to associate
When associating by "age"
When associating by "joining period"
When associating by "years of service"
When configuring years of service, use the appropriate setting depending on what you want to count, such as "Year X since joining" or "X full years of service."
For example, if an employee is in their 1st year since joining, they have been with the company for 0 to 11 months, so the Automatic Association Conditions should be set to "less than 1 year of service." Note that setting it to "less than 2 years of service" would also include employees in their 2nd year.
<Example> For attribute items based on "Year X since joining"
Year 1 since joining: less than 1 year of service
Year 2 since joining: 1 year to less than 2 years of service
Year 3 since joining: 2 to less than 3 years of service
Years 4–5 since joining: 3 to less than 5 years of service
Years 6–9 since joining: 5 to less than 9 years of service
Years 10–14 since joining: 9 to less than 14 years of service
<Example> For attribute items based on "years of service"
Less than 1 year of service: less than 1 year of service
1 year of service: 1 to less than 2 years of service
2 years of service: 2 to less than 3 years of service
3 years of service: 3 to less than 4 years of service
4–5 years of service: 4 to less than 6 years of service
6–9 years of service: 6 to less than 10 years of service
