Set up single sign-on (if necessary)
What is Single Sign-On (SSO)?
Single Sign-On (SSO) is a system that allows users to log in to multiple web and cloud services with a single authentication. There are several types of SSO, and Motivation Cloud supports the SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) 2.0 authentication method.
Once SSO is configured, the login process for Motivation Cloud will change. When you access the Motivation Cloud login screen, the login screen of the authentication service will appear. Upon successful authentication, the screen will automatically switch, and you will be logged into Motivation Cloud.
Steps to Configure Single Sign-On (SSO)
① Request SSO Configuration
Please contact customer support to request SSO configuration.
② Receive Configuration Guide
We will send you the "Motivation Cloud Series SSO/SAML 2.0 Integration Configuration Guide" (Excel format).

Please fill in the following information in the configuration guide and return it to us.

Adding and Updating Users After SSO Configuration
Adding or updating users in the authentication service will not automatically reflect in Motivation Cloud. Please make the same changes in Motivation Cloud's User Settings.
- Adding Users
- After adding a user in the authentication service, also add the same user with the same email address in Motivation Cloud’s User Settings.
- Changing Email Address
- If you change a user's email address in the authentication service, update the same user’s email address in Motivation Cloud’s User Settings as well.
